About My Partner
I think people have a strange habit of postponing happiness until everything is finally in the right place. First solve this problem. Finish that task. Earn more. Worry less. Wait until life becomes calmer. Then, apparently, we will receive official permission to enjoy it. I don't really believe in that anymore. There will probably always be something unfinished. A plan that changed, a question without an answer, something that needs attention tomorrow morning. So I prefer finding reasons to enjoy the day while it is still imperfect. Sometimes that reason is ridiculously small. A conversation that unexpectedly becomes funny. A song that changes my mood. Someone I care about being happy. A quiet evening when nothing particularly important happens. I think joy is often much less dramatic than people expect. Maybe love is too. I came to this dating site without expecting a man to suddenly transform my entire life. I would actually be suspicious if he tried. What interests me much more is the possibility that one person can slowly become important through hundreds of ordinary moments. A relationship does not have to feel extraordinary every day to be valuable. Perhaps real love is partly the opposite. It is when an ordinary day with one particular person somehow feels like exactly where you want to be.
Horseback riding. I love the special mix of freedom, trust and adrenaline it gives me.
I want to meet the man who will make me wonder how we managed not to meet sooner. And then see what we can build from there.
